BMW Motorcycle "Get Serious" Sweepstakes Official Rules NO PURCHASE OR SALES PRESENTATION NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes only open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C., at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry and with a valid US motorcycle license. Void in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, and where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees and immediate family members (parents, children or siblings, whether or not the individual lives in the same household) of BMW North America, LLC, The Concept Farm, Little & King Co., LLC and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, participating vendors, promotion or advertising agencies, or any other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Sweepstakes (all of the above, together with Sponsor, collectively referred to as "Promotion Entities") and household members of each of the foregoing are ineligible to enter. HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes to award Grand and First prizes begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time ("EDT") September 25, 2006 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time ("EST") October 31, 2006 (the "Promotion Period"). Visit www.bmwmotorcycles.com and follow the instructions to enter the Sweepstakes. Or, visit a participating BMW motorcycle dealership and complete the entry form. All entries, regardless of entry method, must include your name, complete address, daytime telephone number, date of birth, and a valid e-mail address. All entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (EST) on October 31, 2006. Only one entry per person and per e-mail address, regardless of entry method, will be accepted. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. Subsequent attempts made by the same individual to enter by using multiple e-mail addresses or otherwise will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Mass entries, or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified. No liability is assumed for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, illegible or mutilated entries. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. INSTANT PRIZES - INTERNET ENTRY ONLY: Entrants may bring their printed confirmation e-mail for their internet entry to their local dealership to see if they have won an instant prize, as determined by each respective dealership. SELECTION OF SWEEPSTAKES WINNERS: A random drawing will be conducted on or about November 21, 2006, by Little & King Co., LLC, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes, from among all valid Internet and paper entries received during the promotion period. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. PRIZES: Grand Prize (1): A 2007 BMW Motorcycle Model of winner's choosing and a training session with a professional motorcycle rider (Nate Kern, Jimmy Lewis, Christian Pfeiffer or Helge Pedersen) (subject to winner qualification, vehicle availability and professional rider availability). Cost of insurance, cost of travel to dealership to take delivery of vehicle, and other expenses associated with prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner must provide evidence of automobile insurance at the time the prize is awarded. Prize must be claimed within three months of being awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to select which dealership near the winner's home will coordinate prize delivery. Dealership may not be that which is closest to the winner's home. Maximum retail value: $22,300.00. First (16): A training session with a professional motorcycle rider (Nate Kern, Jimmy Lewis, Christian Pfeiffer or Helge Pedersen) (subject to winner qualification and professional rider availability). Motorcycles will be provided for training sessions; exact motorcycle used for the training session at Sponsor's sole discretion. Approximate retail value ("ARV"): $2,300.00 each. Final choice of professional rider for training sessions at Sponsor's sole discretion. Instant Prizes (141 - one per participating dealership): Map Measurement Tool, BMW Image DVD and BMW Rider's Apparel. ARV: $195.00 each. Maximum retail value of all prizes: $85,595.00. CONDITIONS: Potential winners will be notified by phone and/or mail and/or email and will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release (and where legally permissible a Publicity Release) within 10 days of notification date or Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select alternate winner. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted unless advertised prize becomes unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted by Sponsor in Sponsor's sole discretion. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification with an alternate winner selected.
